Voice actress Yui Ninomiya, best known as Ema Hinata in the ongoing Aikatsu Friends! TV anime series, announced at her 18th birthday event yesterday that she will make her solo singer debut from Lantis, under the singer name “ニノミヤユイ” in katakana.
Ninomiya was born in Kanagawa Prefecture on September 6, 2001, and still is a high school student. She won the Special Prize (second prize) at the “Next Generation Voice Actor Miracle Audition” in 2017, along with the Grand Prix prize winner Akane Matsunaga, who has voiced the protagonist Aine Yuuki in Aikatsu Friends! Then she made her professional voice actress debut as Ema in April 2018, and has also sung many character songs of hers.
Her ten-song debut album “Ai toka Kanjyou/Love. Emotions, etc.” is set to be released from Lantis on January 15, 2020. The title track is composed by Bugbear, known for his works for idol group Keyakizaka46’s hit songs, such as “Silent Majority” and “Fukyowaon.” The song’s full-length music video is now streamed on Lantis’ official YouTube channel.
Her first solo concert titled “Ai toka Shi, Arui wa Namonaki Kanjyou kara no Touhi/Love. Death, etc. Or Escape from the Nameless Emotions” is scheduled to be held at Shimokitazawa Garden in Tokyo on March 28, 2020. Tickets will go on sale on September 7 at 00:00.
