Game collection launches for Switch, PC in West on October 18
Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming a new trailer on Friday for the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition game. The video previews raising and training Digimon.
The game will release for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on October 18, and will launch in Japan a day earlier on October 17. The game collection will feature both the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory games.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released the original Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth game on PlayStation Vita in Japan in March 2015. Then the game shipped for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in the Americas in February 2016.
Like the first Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory is a “raising RPG” that takes place in the real and digital worlds. The game tells the story about the “other side of Cyber Sleuth,” set in the same setting as the first game. There are more than 320 Digimon that can be raised in the game.
The game features a new protagonist who dives into the world of hackers after he is branded a criminal for an incident he has no memory of. His name, which can be changed, is Keisuke Amazawa. Players must collect “Hacker’s Memory” items to uncover the truth about characters and events in the story.
